Dr. Epstein is a 1985 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She became certified in veterinary homeopathy by the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy (AVH) in 1997, and has studied with Dr. Richard Pitcairn, Lou Klein, and Dr. Prafull Vijakar, among others. After going through the process of having a homeopathy case report published in JAAHA, Dr. Epstein became dedicated to furthering the publication of papers in homeopathy and all CAVM modalities. She serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and will be assuming the role of Editor-in-Chief in September 2019. She has also reviewed for the journal Homeopathy of the British Faculty of Homeopathy. She has lectured on homeopathy extensively in the U.S. and abroad, including in the United Kingdom, Vienna, Japan, Israel, and Canada. Dr. Epstein is past-president of the AVH and a current Board member. In her free time she enjoys cycling as far as her legs will take her.

I was 3 years old when I first said I wanted to be a doctor. After working as a General Practitioner for 13 years, I wanted the time and the freedom to be able to know patients more fully, to understand them more completely, and to stimulate and support their healing and wellbeing. I left General Practice to work at the Centre for Integrative Care Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital where I used a patient-centred, holistic, integrative approach. I loved every day I spent with patients. I retired in 2014 and now live in France where I'm focusing on my writing and photography.

Nick Thompson is a vet. He has been advocating passionately for responsible, species-appropriate raw pet food feeding for the last 20 years. He is Founder and President of the international Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (www.rfvs.info) and has co-authored a pioneering worldwide survey of 79 vets and their experiences feeding raw food. He has organised international raw food conferences for the RFVS for the last five years. Since 1999, Nick has headed a busy specialist practice in Corsham, near Bath (Holisticvet Ltd, www.holisticvet.co.uk) offering homeopathy, acupuncture, natural nutrition and herbal medicine for dogs and horses. His pet topics are gastroenterology, the over-use of pharmaceuticals in veterinary medicine and nutrition.

Nick also shares his passion for raw with nutritional consultancy advice to most of the premier raw pet food companies in the UK. He lectures and consults in Raw Food throughout the UK, Finland, Spain, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the Netherlands. Nick is married with two children and lives in Wiltshire, UK with chickens a Snowshoe cat called Ziggy and a Whippet, Esmerelda.
